Geely Unveils Cutting-Edge Short Blade LFP Battery for Electric Vehicles
Geely has launched its innovative “Short Blade Battery,” an advanced LFP battery incorporating long, thin carbon nanotubes to improve ion transfer and enhance permeability. This breakthrough boosts fast-charging capabilities, achieving an energy density of 192 Wh/kg and a charging rate of 2.45C. Remarkably, the battery can withstand 3,500 charge cycles without significant capacity loss, charging from 10% to 80% in just 17 minutes. This new battery technology will make its debut in the Galaxy E5 SUV, marking a significant leap forward in EV performance and efficiency.
